1. Drink more water
Because water is involved many metabolic processes in your body, being dehydrated has the potential to slow your metabolism down, which can hamper weight loss.
There is also a theory that having a glass of water before a meal can make you feel satisfied faster, meaning you eat less calories.
There are several health problems that may respond well to increased water intake:
- Constipation
- Kidney stones
- Acne and skin hydration
2. Avoid sugary drinks and snacks
When hunger strikes, dieters can often fall off track by opting for sugary snacks to curb cravings. Having healthy but filling snacks at that ready can prevent this.
Avoid the colas and fizzy drinks which are sweetened with sugar. If you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas.
You should avoid some food like:
- Vegetables - Potato and sweet potato.
- Fruits - Banana, cherry, mango and pear.
- Protein - Avoid any kind of meat such as turkey,pork etc.
- Fats and oils - Lard, butter and sunflower oil.
- Carbs - White rice, bread.
- Dairy - Full fat milk, full fat yogurt, ice cream and cheese.
- Beverages - Alcohol, soda, sweetened drinks and packaged fruit juices.
3. Prepare diet soup
Ingredients
- 6 large onions
- 3 medium sized tomatoes
- 1 cabbage
- 2 green peppers
- A bunch of celery
- Half a litter of water
Method of preparation
- Chop up the onions and pepper. In a pot, saute them in olive oil till they turn mild brown.
- Next, cut the tomatoes, celery and cabbage and add them to the pot along with the water.
- The soup takes about 60 Min's to prepare. The vegetables are need to be boiled, then left to simmer. Season it with pepper and salt to your liking and enjoy.
4. Make green tea
- Green tea contains substances that can help you to loss fat.
- Green tea can help mobilised fat from fat cells.
- Green tea can boost the metabolic rate.
Green tea helps a lot in weight loss and stay healthy.
5. Exercise more
Adding more activity to your daily routine- walking to work or using the stairs - is a sure fire way to aid weight loss. Lifting weights and other resistance exercise will prevent you losing muscle mass and speed up your metabolism fast.

To loss weight, you need to burn more calories that you consume. Exercise can help you to achieve this by burning off some extra calories.

Exercise is often advised for weight loss, but people should really aim for fat loss. Even you don't losing weight , you may still be losing fat and building muscle instead.
6. Watch your intake of refined carbohydrates
Refined carbohydrates include white bread and pasta - often stripped of the most nutritious parts.
Excessive consumption of refined carbohydrates will tend to increase your fat mass, body weight and body mass index, which is a measure of your fatness.

7. Lift weights
You don't need to exercise to lose weight on this plan, but it is recommended. The best option is to go to the gym 3-4 times in a week. Do a warm up, lift weights and stretch. If you are new to gym, ask trainer for some advice. By lifting weights you will burn some calories.
Lifting increases the number of calories you burn while your butt is parked on the couch. Lifting gives you a better exercise too.
